Miami Neuroscience Institute's Spine Program at Baptist Hospital has earned The Joint Commission's Advanced Certification for Spine Surgery.

The Joint Commission has recognized Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute’s Spine Program at Baptist Hospital for maintaining the highest standards of healthcare quality and safety for patients undergoing advanced spine surgery. This certification marks the third such certification for Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care out of only four in the state. Marcus Neuroscience Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Miami Neuroscience Institute at South Miami Hospital have also earned this certification.

Stewarded and championed by hospital and Institute leaders and staff to ensure clinical excellence and optimal patient experience and outcomes, this certification is part of The Joint Commission’s Disease-Specific Care Certification program and will be valid for two years.
