Advanced practice providers (APPs) –– nurse practitioners and physician assistants –– are key contributors to the delivery of quality care. With expanding practice roles in settings providing more-complex patient care, it is important to provide APPs opportunities for interprofessional continuing education.

This series will address such topics as oncology, neurology, orthopedics, internal medicine and cardiology, and the approach to evidence-based and clinically relevant patient management.

Sessions will focus on evaluation and management of acute and chronic diseases, as well as the role of research in disease management and health promotion. The series will also focus on topics relevant to advanced practice guidelines.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Physicians, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Athletic Trainers and all other interested healthcare providers.
