Baptist Health has once again been recognized as one of the best healthcare providers in America and the most award-winning healthcare system in South Florida based on the 2024-2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings. The organization secured a total of 45 High Performing honors.
Baptist Health was recognized as High Performing across seven medical specialties and in 16 conditions and procedures, including for excellence in Cancer Care, Brain & Spine Care, Orthopedic Care and Heart & Vascular Care. Achievements include:
- Baptist Health Cancer Care: Baptist Health Cancer Care was ranked among the top 10 percent in the Country, and Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute was ranked #1 in South Florida, with High Performing ratings in complex cancer care, prostate cancer surgery, lung cancer surgery and treating patients with leukemia, lymphoma & myeloma cancers. The Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Miami Cancer Institute both received High Performing ratings in colon cancer surgery.
- Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care: Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute was ranked among the top 10 percent in the country for treating complex neurology and neurosurgery patients. The Institute was also recognized for clinical excellence in stroke care.
- Baptist Health Orthopedic Care: Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute was rated among the top 10 percent in the country and Baptist Health Doctors Hospital was ranked #1 in South Florida for treating complex orthopedic cases and was honored for excellence in hip and knee replacement surgery.
- Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care: Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute received High Performing ratings in treating heart attacks. The Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute and Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute have both been recognized for high performance in caring for those with heart failure.
Among our eligible hospitals, Baptist Health Baptist Hospital, Baptist Health Doctors Hospital, Baptist Health South Miami Hospital, Baptist Health West Kendall Baptist Hospital, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West are recognized as High Performing in several conditions and procedures, including stroke, heart failure, diabetes, geriatrics, maternity, pneumonia and more. Baptist Hospital is ranked among the Top 10 hospitals in the state. Additionally, Baptist Health was recently awarded for having three of America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for ophthalmology and colonoscopy and endoscopy.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions; only 11% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals ranking. Hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
