This milestone marks 15 consecutive years that Baptist Health has led the region in overall U.S. News & World Report distinctions.
Baptist Health Cancer Care, Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, and Baptist Health Orthopedic Care programs were all in the top 10% nationwide, underscoring the strength of its integrated, multidisciplinary approach. Baptist Health Baptist Hospital also received a national gold badge in Diabetes & Endocrinology, ranking #50 in the country for that specialty. - Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care – 13 High Performing ratings, including abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery, aortic valve surgery, heart arrhythmia, heart attack, heart failure, heart bypass surgery and pacemaker implantation.
- Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care – 6 High Performing ratings, including stroke care, back surgery and complex neurological conditions.
- Baptist Health Orthopedic Care – 10 High Performing ratings, including hip fracture, hip replacement, knee replacement and various complex orthopedic cases.
Individually, Baptist Health Baptist Hospital is ranked #2 in South Florida and Baptist Health South Miami Hospital is ranked #8 in South Florida -- reinforcing the depth and geographic reach of the organization’s quality outcomes and patient-centered innovations across the region.
Baptist Health was also recognized for excellence in outpatient care with three High Performing Ambulatory Surgery Center ratings and earned distinction in Best Hospitals for Maternity Care, further reflecting its comprehensive approach to quality across every stage of care.

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions; only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation.
