Baptist Health Orthopedic Care was represented at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Annual Meeting, held July 8-11 in Seattle. As one of the nation's premier professional organizations dedicated to orthopedic sports medicine, AOSSM brings together leading physicians from across the country to advance education, research and clinical care.

Gautam Yagnik, M.D., a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, served on the meeting's Program Committee as Instructional Course Lecture (ICL) chair, helping develop the conference's educational programming. He also served as faculty, presenting alongside nationally recognized leaders in sports medicine during two educational sessions: "Under Pressure: High-Stakes Sideline and Surgical Decisions – Managing Risk Before It Becomes Liability" and "In-Season Management of Contact Athletes – A Case Based Approach," which he also co-moderated.

Dr. Yagnik's leadership and faculty appointments reflect his expertise in orthopedic sports medicine and reinforce Baptist Health Orthopedic Care's commitment to advancing the field through national leadership, education and academic collaboration.
