Charles Lawrie, M.D., M.Sc., a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, and Derek Papp, M.D., a board-certified orthopedic sports medicine physician and orthopedic surgeon with Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, contributed their expertise at the Florida Orthopaedic Society's Annual Scientific Meeting.

Dr. Lawrie presented a research poster, developed in collaboration with Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine students, examining surgeon grip-strength fatigue during robotic total knee arthroplasty and highlighting the importance of surgeon ergonomics in orthopedic procedures. Dr. Papp served as co-moderator of the conference's Sports Medicine section. The annual meeting brings together musculoskeletal specialists from across Florida to collaborate, share research and ideas, and advance the field of orthopaedics through education and innovation.
