According to the Foundation, Dr. Lawrie has been a driving force within the AHF community over the last few years and recently served as vice president of the organization, which aims to continue improving care for patients undergoing anterior total hip arthroplasty. Dr. Lawrie is considered a thought leader and innovator in anterior approach hip arthroplasty, and he is committed to advancing surgical education about this approach on a global scale. He has played a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the organization, established by world-renowned anterior approach pioneer Joel Matta, M.D., of Vail, Colo.
