Guilherme Dabus, M.D., co-director of interventional neuroradiology at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, served as a guest professor and invited speaker at the GSANIT (Grupo Sudamericano de Neurorradiología Intervencionista y Terapeutica) in Santa Cruz, Chile, April 8-11. 

Dr. Dabus shared his experience using specialized devices for the treatment of brain aneurysms, as well as endovascular treatment of vascular malformations in the brain and severe ischemic strokes caused by blocked blood vessels.

The event brought together interventional and therapeutic neuroradiologists from across South America and internationally to discuss available treatments for aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, brain fistulas and stroke.
