Several physician-researchers at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health, will be presenting, speaking, and moderating panels at the 37th International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET) in Hollywood, Fla., February 2-5, 2025. ISET is one of the most important meetings in the field of endovascular therapies, designed for current and future endovascular experts to discuss and debate new techniques, technologies, and procedures that improve patient care.

“We have some of the top experts in the field of endovascular therapies,” said Dr. Tom Nguyen, chief medical executive and Barry T. Katzen Medical Director Endowed Chair at of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. “I am thrilled with the caliber of the research and innovation that we are conducting at our Institute, and I am excited to have our team of experts share these advances with our peers at the symposium.”

Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute is an official partner of the symposium this year. And in fact, Barry T. Katzen, M.D., chief medical innovation officer for Baptist Health South Florida and emeritus chief medical executive of Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, is one of the founders of the symposium.

The topics researchers will cover at the symposium include non-invasive vascular diagnoses, epidemiology of PAD and venous disease, aorta and aortic valve therapies, carotid therapy, innovations in cardiac and vascular care, management of pulmonary embolism, and adverse outcomes in acute limb ischemia, among many others.
